Assess proposed demolition of listed buildings

Satisfied

As a planning practitioner, I need to know whether a proposal includes partial or total demolition of a listed building and why so that I can assess the potential loss of heritage significance and determine whether it is justified.

Justification

Justification just-0071

The `lbc` value in `application-types` identifies listed building consent applications. The structured submission records whether demolition is proposed, whether it is partial or total, what is to be demolished, the reason for the demolition and the listed building grade. Together, these fields let a planning practitioner identify the proposed loss and assess its effect on the listed building's heritage significance. Supporting documents referenced from the submission provide the detailed evidence needed to determine whether the demolition is justified.
